About us
The owners of Le Mascaret are two families, longtime friends, with a great appreciation for the beauty and culture of Europe in general and France in particular and who fell in love with the house and its environs at first sight. We first visited Le Mascaret in the summer of 2003 and became its owners in October 2003. We live in the Boston Massachusetts area and have extensive ties to Europe and travel there frequently. At some point in the future we hope to spend a great deal of time at Le Mascaret, but now because of job (higher education, nutrition research, software support, and environmental protection) and child rearing commitments (2 fiften year old girls and two boys ages 18 and 19 are unable to do so. We have chosen to share it with others who will love it as well.
